ALL SOLARPAK MODELS are easily erected, and require only one simple connection before being left to recharge your battery throughout the day. Although the maximum output is achieved in bright, sunny conditions, it is worth remembering that the SOLARPAK’s still charge in overcast or even wet weather. SOLARPAK’s will also charge (at a slightly lower rate) if left inside, next to a window or beneath a skylight for example.

SOLARPAK’s are fully weatherproof, and designed to be used throughout the world. The solar modules used offer high impact resistance and protection against hail, snow, ice and storms. Extreme cold (<-20 ° C) and heat (>50 ° C) may effect output, but will not normally harm the modules.

New for 2005 - The Solarpak 10 and 25 Thin Film Units

New for 2004, both the SOLARPAK 10 & 20 use the latest in Shell Solar Thin Film Technology. The CIS Thin-Film modules perform well in low light conditions and are less affected by shading. The adjustable leg is designed to self support the panel on hard ground & the output is diode protected to prevent battery drain. The rugged design makes them very suitable for expedition use.

Multi-Crystalline Technology High Output Range

The winning combination of size and output make the multi-crystalline SOLARPAK’s the No.1 choice for caravan and motor home owners. The 3 different versions are rated at 25, 36 and 50 watts, equivalent to maximum outputs of 1.5, 2.4 and 3.4 amps respectively. The 36 & 50 watt versions also feature a built in charge controller. This automatically shuts off the solar charge when the battery is full.
