What does the Adverc System do?

The ADVERC BM SYSTEM is a controller.
It allows the alternator to deliver the optimum voltage and current to ensure the overall system to which it is applied is working efficiently.

Importantly, the Adverc also guarantees the batteries can be charged quickly and effectively through its unique programmed cycling voltages.

As the Adverc controller is a battery sensed unit it compensates for any voltage losses due to long cable runs as well as possible voltage drops across blocking diodes, if these are used.

Overall this leads to a more efficient alternator performance, reduced engine running time and can increase battery capacity by 30-40%.
It has been shown that the improved battery charging will also extend the battery life by a similar amount.

Which Adverc System do you require?

A complete range of Adverc BM units are available:

• 12v negative
• 12v positive
• 24v negative
• 24v positive

The units normally come complete with a harness for easy installation and full fitting instructions, however, our technicians are always available to offer you instant advice should you have any problems. In addition we also provide an extensive range of accessories to help you over those difficult fitting problems.

The Adverc system is able to control two alternators on either single or twin engine boats, having a large capacity of service batteries.
As alternators up to 110 amp are small framed, it may be easier to fit an extra alternator rather than a single high output large framed alternator.
Should an alternator fail, the Adverc BM System will contine to control the remaining alternator, thus providing a fail safe position.

How do I fit it?

Along with a set of comprehensive fitting instructions, Adverc also has its own set of schematic drawings readily available.
Generally these are provided to suit each customers' unique set-up.

Is it fitted correctly?

For peace of mind that your Adverc has been fitted correctly and is working efficiently, we suggest the use of the Adverc test harness and/or the Adverc Digital Circuit Monitor (DCM).
