The SCS is for use in HGV cabs, it offers the driver a bank to run their 12v appliances that are often used in a sleeper cab situations such as an inverter, heater, tv or microwaves etc..
This 12v bank is charged while the vehicle engine is on using an OSCA-P 24v-12v charger but stops the instant the engine is turned off.
The 12v bank means the engine start battery is not jeopardised and will start when needed.
