DC and AC distribution systems: ONEbox(DC) and ONEbox(AC)

To further enhance their 25 years unrivalled customer support, Adverc BM Ltd has undergone a period of expansion, including the provision of integrated development, production, assembly and installation facilities, all under one roof.

This strategy has quickly produced customer-focussed benefits, including our DC and AC distribution systemsONEbox(DC) andONEbox(AC).

The concept ONEbox, provides an enclosed DC or AC electrical distribution panel or integrated panels, incorporating, in them, many components, normally installed separately.

A typical ONEbox panel or panels may embrace a host of components, such as a buss bar, fuses, solenoids, a split-charging facility, inverter and mains charger functions, even a galvanic isolator and DCM monitor.

This simplifies installation, creates space, reducing fitting out time, by as much as 70%, and minimizes installation errors during fitting out.

ONEbox employs installer friendly connection points or cables. It can be in standard form, a bespoke unit or optimised for rapid production line fitting out.

The ONEbox concept means that spare units can be kept to enable a rapid exchange in the event of a suspected fault.

ONEbox unit can be easily bench tested at a convenient time, either by the customer or Adverc.

ONEbox is perhaps not as complex as some integrated systems on the market.

It is, however straightforward, more user-friendly and probably less expensive!

The enclosures are made to IP56, are impact resistant and come with clear or opaque lids.

Full schematics would be supplied, which can be included with boat documentation details, for inspection purposes, etc where necessary.

Schematic 818 (above) provides an indication of what is possible in providing a complete electrical system which is easy to understand and more important, is user-friendly in terms of installation. Another major consideration concerns the Recreational Craft Directive (RCD) 94/25/EC. A full set of wiring diagrams and schematics will be supplied by ADVERC for inclusion in the boat documentation and equipment details folder, normally required for any visit by a Boat Safety Inspector.

Why use ONEbox? Because Adverc have done the hardwork! The result considerably reduces installation time, as well as increasing the integrity and reliability of the working system.

ADVERC's range of standard boxes can be found on out products page or by clicking here, these, in combination, should provide everything you need, at a reduced cost based on volume production. Equally, though, we can provide a bespoke system according to individual requirements, as well as supplying a host of bits and pieces to complete the job, including cable and connectors, batteries and battery clamps, battery links, switches, relays, fuses, RCD’s etc.
