ADVERC EASY-CHECK

The ADVERC EASY-CHECK, is a solitary 10mm LED development, which changes colour (green, amber and red) at predetermined voltages. It is not intended to replace our DCM unit, or any other ammeter, voltmeter or monitoring device etc. What EASY-CHECK is designed to do is to provide an instant indication of battery status.
The accompanying sticker/label will not display any voltages, but will leave the observer in no doubt concerning the state of charge of the battery(s).

This simple and low cost regime makes EASY-CHECK ideal as a general battery status indicator or as a comparator, for example in the case of trials on marine craft and in automotive applications, without having to resort to multimeters, removing battery covers and generally getting hands dirty! It occupies little space - it comes as an LED with leads and a bezel for mounting on a panel. Alternatively, it can be placed in an enclosure.
The module, which is not waterproof, fits into a 14mm hole drilled in a panel and has two flexible flying leads: red to a 12v (or 24v) positive supply and the black to negative/ground.
EASY-CHECK modules are:
- Fully insulated and protected (no bare circuit board or components).
- Reverse polarity and overload protected.
- Adaptable to customization and an audible alarm can be added if quantities permit.
